One of the overall strategies identified is to establish “Technology Platforms” and make the available for researchers through WWSC. A Technology Platform contains advanced equipment, experimental methodologies, know-how, procedures and operational/advising resources. It is believed that such platforms will enhance the scientific quality of the research as well as increase the efficiency. It is also believed that such platforms will be attractive to external researchers as well as potential industrial collaborators in need to carry out advanced experimental research I areas relevant for WWSC.
