Research area:
New materials for next generation energy technology. We are investigating how we can exploit sustainable resources from forrest raw materials to design materials on the nano level that allow for high capacity energy storage systems as well as high power performance. The activities cover the full chain from materials design and synthesis, advanced characterisation including operando spectroscopy and imaging, to cell testing and evaluation of new materials in full devices.
