Research area:
As a researcher at the WWSC, I work on the topic of “forest-based nanomaterials” where I:
• Use natural resources and process them into hydrocolloids and nanocelluloses;
• Target product concepts such as strength additive, coatings, or structural materials;
• Use as research tools chemical treatments, bioconjugate and polymer chemistry, derivatization of raw materials, scale-ups, and adapting protocols from literature to my projects;
• Work with Stora Enso as external researcher funded by the Swedish Strategic Foundation.
Key competences: Wood-based hydrocolloids, composites, optimization, lab and project management.
