Project: 5.3.3 Cellulose/Metallic oxide Hybrids
Supervisor: Richard Olsson
Project planned to end: 03/2023
Research area:
The research focuses on developing methods to grow metallic oxides along cellulose crystals as well as three-dimensional cellulose templates. The research mainly involves the utilization of water-based synthesis protocols to investigate hierarchal substructures of inorganic particle materials in the presence of cellulose. The ambition is to enhance the possibility of designing cellulose based hybrid materials with specific properties provided by the inorganic structures as well as to provide new strategies to create inorganic structures suitable for specific applications.
