Project: 3.2.X Investigation of processes for spraying and spray-coating of hybrid cellulose-based nanostructures

Research area:

I study self-assembly of anisotropic nanoparticles as nanocellulose. metallic or polymeric materials during spray deposition. The forming thin films are studied using surface sensitive X-ray and neutron based techniques and complementary lab methods. This allow us to correlate the structural morphology to physical properties as optical response, conductivity or wetting capabilities. My specialities are thin films and soft matter, and characterization-wise GISAXS and GISANS as well as their corresponding wide angle complement.
