We study molecular and atomistic properties of plant cell wall biopolymers using atomistic Molecular Dynamics computer simulations in combination with spectroscopic methods, such as solid state NMR. Of partical interest are hemicellulose, their interaction with cellulose fibrils, and the influence of water.
