The SUSMATCHEM group develops lignin-based functional materials for sustainable energy and environmental applications.
In addition, we are interested in transformation of other industrial side-streams to value-added materials following the principles of green chemistry. Our research also involves fundamental studies on the formation and structure of renewable nanomaterials, as well as their chemical and biological functions.
