The ERC Consilodator grant  support mid-career researchers to consolidate their teams and conduct pioneering research. This year, 313 European researches were warded the grant in high competition. One of them is the Chalmers Professor and WWSC member Christian Müller, who with this grant now further can strengthen his research on conductive textiles and yarns.

“My vision as a researcher is that, in a not-too-distant future, our clothes will have additional functions that cannot be realized with existing electronics alone. Electronic textiles may help us to connect our physical and virtual selves through sensing and interacting with our environment.” says Christian to Chalmers.se.

Christian Müller receives 2 million Euro for his project.
