2019-01-02. WWSC researcher Professor Lisbeth Olsson at Chalmers is awarded the Arrhenius Plate 2018 for her research in the field of bioeconomy. Her field of research is industrial biotechnology, and she designs enzymes and microorganisms for processes in which biomass is transformed into fuel, chemicals and materials.
The Arrhenius Plaque is annually awarded to persons who have been distinguished by outstanding scientific research in the field of chemistry and its environmental sciences or who have performed valuable work for the Swedish Chemical Society by the Swedish Chemical Society (Svenska Kemisamfundet).
