Welcomed by the WWSC Director Eva Malmström who gave a short introduction to the center, the visitors from KAW and the KTH management were then guided through the WWSC facilities. In the labs they got to see demo presentations by some of our fantastic PhD students.
The demonstrations included a tour of our state-of-the-art semi-pilot cooking lab, IRL preparation of superstrong nanocellulose filaments, fully biobased wood adhesives, and transparent wood.
The level of engagement was very high, both by the visitors and the PhD students, which led to lots of interesting discussions and exchanges of ideas.
