Welcome to Wallenberg Wood Science Center

Wallenberg Wood Science Center is a research center with a focus on new materials from trees. The center creates knowledge and builds competence that has the potential to form the basis for an innovative future value creation from forest raw material.

WWSC is a joint research center and collaboration between KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology and Linköping University. The base is a donation from Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. The forest industry is supporting WWSC via the national platform Treesearch.

Treesearch and WWSC virtual conference

With the spread of the new coronavirus we are all facing a new situation, where among other things scientific conferences and meetings are being cancelled widely.

Treesearch and WWSC want to contribute to keeping the scientific discussion going by offering a virtual conference series, with two seminars per week.

The seminars are being live-streamed at Treesearch’s YouTube channel on Tuesdays at 10.15 and Thursdays 13.15.
