Professor Lisbeth Olsson has had an important role in building up and managing WWSC since the start of the center, as well as participated in building up other cross-disciplinary research environments. These are experiences she think will benefit the role as Secretary General that she starts November 1.

– I think it is incredibly important that researchers in Sweden gather around national and international research infrastructures. They are a prerequisite for us to be able to conduct cutting-edge research! says Lisbeth Olsson to vr.se.

Lisbeth will remain active in WWSC, where she is codirector, program manager for Program 1 and part of the WWSC management.
